If These Streets Could Talk

Conway QR Tour Group PhotoHistory and hi-tech come together when BN Duke Scholars bring QR Code 21st century technology to the streets of Conway, S.C. Residents and tourists can stop at a number of places and simply use their mobile devices to learn more about Conway’s storied history.

Click here and check out how scholars Diego Farias Canepa (far left) and Will Victor (far right) integrated QR code on the streets of Conway.

Take a tour, follow the map and watch videos on each historic topic, like the one below, featuring Conway’s Warehouse District.

This project was a combined effort with Conway Downtown Alive, the City of Conway, and B.N. Duke Scholars.

Choosing to come to Duke and be a B.N. Duke Scholar had everything to do with choosing the corner where the people would support us the most zealously, where we could explode in pursuit of our passions, and where opportunities were not scarce. Stesha Doku Charlotte, NC
