How Can I Be Considered For A B.N. Duke Scholarship?

APPLY to Duke University!

All residents of North and South Carolina who apply and are accepted for undergraduate admission to Duke University are automatically considered for the award. There is no separate application and no financial need component. Finalists for the scholarship are notified by mid-March. If you are hesitant to apply to Duke because of the cost, please reconsider. In addition to this and other merit scholarships, Duke University has recently expanded need-based financial aid, which is highlighted here

How Can I Learn More About Other Duke Merit Scholarships?

All of the merit scholarships that Duke offers are housed under the umbrella of the Office of Undergraduate Scholars and Fellows (OUSF). Visit their website, to learn more about all of the scholarships we have to offer.

In addition to merit, a few of our scholarships also require demonstration of financial need. Please provide the Financial Aid office with all necessary documentation, no later than the first week in March, to optimize consideration for scholarship awards.

Choosing to come to Duke and be a B.N. Duke Scholar had everything to do with choosing the corner where the people would support us the most zealously, where we could explode in pursuit of our passions, and where opportunities were not scarce. Stesha Doku Charlotte, NC
